How Lake Genero is helping our community

​How is Lake Genero in the Northeastern Pocono Mountains maintaining its commitment to charitable endeavors? Some endeavors that Lake Genero has been involved with are private while others are more noticeable. Ownership and staff alike understand the social responsibility that comes along with owning and operating a business. 

In Lake Genero's first event under new ownership in 2021 over 20 non for profit entities were given free vendor spots to collect donations and make the community aware of their causes. Following the event, Lake Genero had collected linens for local animal shelters and also provided a local family with numerous meals and some temporary employment. YES WE ARE HIRING!

In the first several months of 2022 which was only a few months into ownership, Lake Genero discovered a great local cause and raised funds through a comedy show at Evergreen Hills in Hamlin, PA. Many businesses and families came out to support a local community member who was still on the road to recovery. Aside from helping a local family, this event organized by Lake Genero united local businesses for positive revenue as well as an opportunity to network.

Lake Genero is proud of a continued relationship with the Evergreen PTA organization from the Western Wayne School District. Together the Evergreen PTA and Lake Genero have hosted several events, raised significant funds. Both organizations are looking forward to various endeavors planned together in 2023.

Do you have a cause or a need? Lake Genero considers all potential causes for support.  Most recently, Lake Genero partnered with the United Way of the Pocono Mountains by supplying over $150,000 of COVID tests to various organizations in need.
